As part of the Carolyn Barber Pierre Center for Intercultural Life, the Office of Multicultural Affairs, provides opportunities for engagement with through our partnerships with the various graduate schools in the Tulane University community. Each semester we host programs for graduate students to build affinity and connect with our staff. While we invite everyone in the community to actively engage in any and all of our programs and events throughout the year, we also recognize that graduate and professional students seek experiences that differ from that of traditional undergraduate students. It is our hope that we can offer welcoming spaces and opportunities that enhance your Tulane experience. We also want to connect you with advocates, allies, and identify spaces where you can decompress, find encouragement, and connect with others who share your lived experiences.

Consider Connecting with GAPSA through Interdivisional Graduate Diversity Organizations (IGDOs)
The Interdivisional Graduate Diversity Organizations (IGDOs) are GAPSA-sponsored Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) that include members from at least three different GAPSA divisions. IGDOs have members that are almost entirely graduate and professional students. These organizations celebrate the diversity that Tulane cherishes. Each IGDO is allocated a budget every semester.
Current (active) IGDOs include:
- South Asian Graduate Association (SAGA)
- TU Alianza Graduate Association
- STEM Non-Academic Careers Society (SNACS)
- Tulane University Black Excellence (BE)
