Trey Hill
Advocacy
Claude Hill, III, (a.k.a. Trey) is from Paulina, LA and is a sophomore at Tulane University studying Neuroscience, Computer Science, and Digital Productions. In addition to serving as the Advocacy Ambassador for the Office of Multicultural Affairs & Gender and Sexual Diversity, Trey is a Resident Advisor in Décou-Labat Residences, a Community Engagement Advocate, a tour guide for admissions, and an intern for Upward Bound of New Orleans. He also works on campus at Mussafer Hall, which houses departments for academic advancement. In his free time, Trey enjoys playing tennis, working on films/photography, and watching Spongebob Squarepants.

Asha Wafer
Marketing & Communication
Asha Wafer is a Los Angeles native who earned her degree in Sociology and Communications, emphasizing in Media Writing. Passionate about social justice, Asha has worked with the New Orleans chapter of GirlTrek to empower young Black women through the power of walking. In her new role as the inaugural Marketing and Communications Ambassador for The Center, Asha helped to create safe spaces for minority groups on Tulane’s campus, specifically queer people of color. Asha envisions a more inclusive Tulane with active communities and a bold minority presence. Asha hopes to have a career in either Public Relations, Journalism, or Corporate Social Responsibility. She might even carve out a combination of the three! She is currently a fellow for Rally, an issue-driven communications consulting firm that takes on sticky political and social issues and finds a way to push them forward.
Anfernee Murray
Programming
Anfernee is from Gretna, Louisiana. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with two minors in English and Africana Studies. He loves all forms of art (visual, performance, theatrical, digital, architecture, literature, and culinary) and tries to implement a theatrical approach to every aspect of his involvement at Tulane. On campus, He considered himself a very-involved student due to his multiple roles in various organizations. He was a student worker, a Resident Adviser, a student leader, a mentor, an advocate for community-engagement and discourse, a student organizer around topics of race, class, ability, and gender, a campus organizer across differences, and an "O" Ambassador.
As Programming Ambassador, Anfernee planned and implemented programs sponsored by The Center while working closely with the staff to engage with students and evaluate programs using the lens of a student. Anfernee was a recipient of the Tulane 34 Award and went on to become a staff member for New Student & Leadership Programs.
Justin Sandoval
Mentoring and Engagement
Justin graduated from Tulane in 2018. They are passionate about diversity, inclusion, and equity at Tulane, specifically when it comes to the experiences of students of color, LGBTQ+ students, and first-generation students. As a native New Orleanian, Justin is proud to be a recipient of the Posse Foundation’s Four-Year Full-Tuition Leadership Scholarship. Justin’s accomplishments during their time at Tulane include running for Student Body President, serving as an Orientation Coordinator and a Wave Leader during New Student Orientation, participating in the LeaderShape Institute, and directing musical theater showcases with the Tulane Musical Performance Organization. Justin enjoys attending events and participating in programs put on by The Center for Intercultural Life and the Center for Academic Equity. They were honored to serve as an “O” Ambassador during their last academic year and advocate on issues of inclusion for gender non-conforming students.
Aalyiah Butler
Kaleidoscope Residential Learning Community
Aalyiah Marie Butler is a junior at Tulane University and Kaleidoscope RLC Alum. She is a pre-med student currently studying Sociology and Public Health. She participates in various programs on campus, such as POSSE, Black Student Union, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and is a CACTUS Academy grad. Aalyiah values diversity and inclusion and strives to make Tulane a safer environment for all marginalized groups. As the Kaleidoscope Ambassador, Aalyiah engaged with members of the RLC during family dinners, trips off campus, and facilitate dialogues during Kaleidoscope Fridays. She made the Dean's List multiple semesters during her time as an Ambassador.
Amreena Singh

Amreena Singh is a senior majoring in Public Health and minoring in Spanish and Sociology! She is originally from Austin, Texas. On campus she has been involved with SAPHE and CACTUS Academy. In her free time, Amreena loves traveling, drinking coffee, going on adventures, learning about different cultures, and trying new food! As an ambassador she assisted in the planning and facilitation of programs related to the prevention of sexual violence for students of color at Tulane. She offered preliminary qualitative data to lay the groundwork for work to address the issue strategically on campus.
Annalise Harknett
Production
Annalise Harknett is a rising junior from Memphis, Tennessee, and she is studying Public Health with a minor in French and SISE. She is heavily involved with the Tulane Shockwave Dance Team and TUSTEP. She is very passionate about inclusivity and was a member of the Beyond Boundaries club at her high school. This club focused on eliminating inequality and bullying on the basis of race, gender, and sexual orientation. Annalise hopes to continue to encourage acceptance on Tulane's campus. As an ambassador, Annalise provided all the wonderful photography featured in our various social media and online platforms. You may have seen her work in marketing materials provided by the office.
Regina Solar
Marketing & Communications
Regina Solar is a junior at the Tulane Freeman Business School studying Marketing and Management with a minor in Psychology. She's originally from Mexico City, but she's lived most of her life in Redondo Beach, California. Although she is far from home, coming to New Orleans has been an incredible experience filled with a lot of good food, jazz, and art. On campus you’ll either find her on a quad with her sketchbook or tucked away at the Center for Public Service doing work. Regina was a great marketing ambassador who produced high quality flyers, program materials for our 30th anniversary and always added a creative flair to our marketing efforts. She is a team player who always shows up.

Lela Hill

From Paulina, Louisiana, Lela Hill is a senior studying both Psychology and Health & Wellness on the Pre-Physician Assistant track. In addition to being the Marketing and Communications Ambassador, Lela serves as a Resident Advisor (RA) in Monroe Hall and is a member of several organizations: the Black Student Union (BSU), the Minority Association of Pre-Medicine Students (MAPS), and Pre-Physician Assistant Society. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Lela has also been a participant in Tulane student productions, and she was a research assistant in the Lion's Story Lab for two years. Lela’s passion for community service is remarkable, as she has served as both a volunteer and intern at University Medical Center in various departments, a tutor for high school students, and a volunteer at various animal shelters.
Tamia Toomer
Programming
Tamia Toomer is a junior majoring in Communication with a minor in Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship. She is also in the SOPA program to become certified to teach. For the 2019-2020 school year, she will be the programming ambassador for the Office of Multicultural Affairs and a peer mentor Tamia is also a College Track scholar, first-gen college student, and a member of the LGBTQIA community. Outside of school, she works as a bartender/server at a local restaurant, nanny, and freelance makeup artist.
