Information for New Students

The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is committed to providing programs and services that center students of color at Tulane. During our orientation programs and throughout the academic year, first year students and their families can get information about our work, discover resources, connect with allies, and explore opportunities on campus and around New Orleans.

Our Annual Center for Intercultural Life Orientation and Fall Welcome Programs are a great place to start!

From the moment students and their families arrive on campus, we want you to know what support systems and resources we have in place to promote your success. With this in mind, we invite you and your parents to our annual Intercultural Life Student Orientation.

Virtual Intercultural Life Student Orientation Sessions 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. August 10-14, 2020

For students, we host a session that focuses on developing strategies to promote a healthy transition to college life. You will also get to know other students in the class of 2024 as well as upper-class student leaders. We recommend that you use this time to ask questions about anything and everything Tulane during the session.  Register Here
