The Ambassadors Program

Multicultural Ambassadors

The Ambassadors program is a competitive opportunity offered to seven currently enrolled students each year. Our goal is to develop a cohort of students who understand the benefits of integrating academic excellence, professional development, and intercultural competence in their lives. Each Ambassador demonstrates their holistic development through advocacy and practical service, and blaze a path for future Tulane students seeking a similar experience. By integrating their academic interests and commitment to social justice and inclusion, ambassadors will design programs and projects to engage with current students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the New Orleans community. The ideal time commitment for an ambassador is 15-20 hours each week. At the end of the year, an appreciation event to celebrate the accomplishments of these exceptional students, they will showcase their projects (posters, videos, slideshows, etc.) and present their vision for the future Tulanians like themselves.

There are five OMA  Ambassador positions available and five OGSD Ambassador positions available.
