The staff at the Office of Multicultural Affairs welcomes you TU the campus community!  It is our mission to cultivate support, connection, and growth for Black, Indigenous, Latinx/Latine, Asian, Pacific Islander, Multiracial, and other individuals who identify as people of color. We support undergraduate and graduate/professional students at Tulane University.

As part of The Carolyn Barber Pierre Center for Intercultural Life, we recognize that students have many identities and provide educational, social, and cultural opportunities that address the intersections of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class, nationality, differing abilities, neurodiversity, and religion. We work with students to foster community engagement, provide decolonized leadership development through coalition building, offer advocacy to help students find and use their voice, and promote healthy cultural identity development. OMA also fosters opportunities for continuous antiracist action-oriented learning to move towards equity throughout the campus community. We do this by offering social justice educational opportunities for students like our Community Engagement Advocates program. Some of which are listed below.
